Users earn 1.5 points for every dollar spent and can redeem those points for a statement credit for travel-related purchases. This card offers a lower sign-up bonus at 20,000 points, but at one thousand dollars, the required spending is the lowest among this group of high-reward cards. Customers with active bank accounts with Bank of America can earn an additional ten percent for each purchase, and for Preferred Rewards clients, the point bonus increases to up to seventy-five percent based on balances across Bank of America and Merrill Edge/Merrill Lynch accounts.
